Journalism in Germany

In today's edition of "Continent," the editorial team around Golli Marboe examines media projects in Germany. Specifically, they focus on "best practice" examples that Austrian media, and especially the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation), could use as models. These include the production of children's and youth programs in the digital world; the style and feel of sports journalism; and whether a country like Austria should also produce multilingual programs for its European neighbors, as Deutsche Welle does.

Guests in today's episode of Continent include children's book author Thomas Brezina , ARD sports reporter Christoph Nahr , media scholar and member of the ZDF television council Leonhard Dobusch , and Adelheid Feilcke , responsible for the "Europe" editorial team at Deutsche Welle.
