Journalism in Slovenia

Today we are looking at our southern neighbor, at the media situation in Slovenia.

This small country, with roughly the same population as the greater Vienna area, is going through a difficult time. There is much discussion surrounding the funding of the news agency and public broadcasting.

We will be speaking with journalist Borut Mekina , who works for a magazine that could perhaps be compared to profil or Falter , this magazine is called Mladina , and we will also be speaking with the former director of public broadcasting in Slovenia, Natalija Gorscak .
