Incidentally, Spain ranks 32nd in Reporters Without Borders' Press Freedom Index , placing it behind countries like Trinidad and Tobago, East Timor, and the Dominican Republic. However, it also ranks behind Austria, which is just one place ahead of Spain at number 31.
